Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1

All guests will assemble at Howrah Station and board the Saraighat Express, taking their reserved seats.

Day 2

Arrival at Guwahati Station, transfer to hotel and check-in.
Then proceed for Kamakhya Temple darshan.
In the evening, guests may enjoy a Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (at own expense).

Day 3

After morning refreshments, proceed towards Bomdila, covering approximately 350 km.
En route, visit an Orchid Centre (home to around 500 orchid species) and the Nag Temple.
Evening free for leisure.

Day 4

After breakfast, depart for Tawang (approx. 190 km).
Before departure, visit the Bomdila Buddhist Monastery.
En route sightseeing includes:

• Sela Pass (world’s second-highest pass)

• Sela Lake

• Jaswant Garh

• Indo–China War Memorial

Overnight stay at a hotel in Tawang.

Day 5

After breakfast, visit:

• World-famous Tawang Monastery

• Urgeling (Argeling) Cave – birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama

• Other local sightseeing spots

Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 6

Visit:

• Madhuri Lake

• Indo–China Border

Day 7

After breakfast, proceed to Dirang.
Visit:

• Orchid Centre

• Kiwi Farm

• Dirang Monastery

• Kalachakra Monastery

Dirang is also famous for its Hot Water Spring, where many visitors take a bath.
Overnight stay at Dirang.

Day 8

Proceed from Dirang to Kaziranga National Park, covering approximately 255 km.

Day 9

Early morning Elephant Safari in Kaziranga (subject to availability and luck for wildlife sightings).
After lunch, enjoy Jeep Safari.
In the evening, visit the Orchid Garden and enjoy local cultural dance performances.

Day 10

After breakfast, visit:

• Basistha Ashram

• Balaji Temple

Then proceed to Guwahati Station to board the return train.

Day 11

Arrival at Howrah Station.
Tour ends with happy memories.

Additional Expenses (Not Included)

1. ILP (Inner Line Permit): ₹500 per person

2. Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake: ₹6,000 per vehicle

3. Kaziranga Elephant Safari: ₹1,200 per person

4. Kaziranga Jeep Safari: ₹3,800 per jeep (for 6 persons)

Tour Rules & Guidelines

1. Accommodation Type

• Family-wise double or triple-bedded rooms will be provided.

• Extra bed or mattress on the floor will be provided if required.

• For families of four staying in one room, one extra bed/mattress will be provided.

• Train berth allocation (upper/middle/lower) depends solely on Indian Railways and cannot be chosen.

2. Package Includes

• Sleeper class train tickets for round-trip travel.

• Transportation by Bus / Tempo Traveller / Sumo / Bolero (Non-AC).

• Meals included:

  • Morning black tea

  • Breakfast

  • Lunch

  • Evening light snacks

  • Dinner

• Packaged drinking water will be served only during lunch and dinner.
  (In some cases, hotel drinking water may also be provided.)

3. Terms & Conditions

• Entry fees and guide charges at sightseeing spots are to be borne by guests.

• The tour operator is not responsible for any damage to hotel property or for any illness or physical issues during the tour.

• Guests are kindly requested to tip kitchen staff if satisfied with their service (optional).

• Any additional cost due to train cancellation caused by natural or political reasons must be borne by guests.

• Any additional charges related to rail/bus/air/ship fare increase must be borne by guests.

• Tour dates and timings may change due to unavoidable circumstances.

• Vehicles provided will be 14-seater or 17-seater.
  If smaller vehicles are required for sightseeing at any point, the extra cost will be borne by guests.

4. Payment Policy

• 35% advance payment required per person at the time of booking.

• Remaining balance must be paid 10 days before tour departure.

5. Child Policy

• Children below 5 years:

  • Free if traveling with two adults and no separate vehicle seat is required.

  • Child must share non-veg food with parents.

  • If separate non-veg meal is required, additional payment must be made.

  • If a vehicle seat is required, applicable charges will apply.

• Children aged 5–10 years:

  • If sharing a room with two adults, 70% of the total land package cost will be charged.

  • Includes vehicle seat and all meals.

• Children above 10 years:

  • Full adult charges applicable.

6. Cancellation Policy

• 50–40 days before departure: 50% of deposited amount will be adjusted in a future tour.

• 30–15 days before departure: 35% of deposited amount will be adjusted in a future tour.

• 14–7 days before departure: 25% of deposited amount will be adjusted in a future tour.

• 7–0 days before departure: No amount will be adjusted.
